Candle care and safety

• Never leave a burning candle unattended.
• Keep out of reach of children and pets.
• Burn on a stable, heat-resistant surface, away from draughts and anything that can catch fire.
• On the first light, let it burn until the whole top surface has melted to help it burn evenly.
• Trim the wick to around 5mm (¼ in) before each use, and burn for no more than 4 hours at a time.
• Extinguish with a snuffer or by dipping the wick rather than blowing it out, to reduce smoke.
• The container may become hot while burning. Let it cool completely before moving it.
• Stop using the candle when around 1cm (½ in) of wax remains.
• Store in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight.
